The pink city is one of the prettiest towns in France.
The Basilica of Saint–Sernin, the largest Roman church in the world,
the cathedral of Saint-Etienne,
the Jacobin church and cloister with its audacious ceilings…
as well as the wonderful old houses with their paved interior courtyards,
the Augustinian museum
(the largest collection of roman art in the world),
or the Jacobin museum,
the jewel of gothic art,
an ancient dominican convent where the relics of St Thomas Aquinas are kept.

There is also the museum of modern art or the abattoirs.

Don’t leave before having bought your violet flavoured sweets
or before having eaten an ice cream at the Capitole square,
a pot in Wilson square,
and a coffee in St George’s square…

I would even suggest that you stay and dine at Chez Emile (see Gastronomy).
